Production of microbial body protein was studied on soybean waste with T.viride,A.niger,S.cerevisiae and C.utilis by mixed culture solid state fermentation.Effects of four variable factors:components of medium, amount and comprising of inoculum, initial pH value and cultivation temperature were evaluated. It had been showed that the optimum conditions of the fermentation process were as follows:soybean waste∶wheat bran=8∶2,A.niger∶T.viride∶S.cerevisiae∶C.utilis=1∶1∶1∶3(inoculum size),initial pH value was 5.5 and cultivation temperature was 32℃.Under the optimum conditions, the amount of crude protein could be as high as 28.47%.It was about two times more compared with raw material.
