Research Progress on Recycling of Organic Solid Wastes Based on Aerobic Compost

Rapid increase of population and urbanization make the generation of solid wastes increase around the world,and aerobic compost is an efficient way to dispose organic solid wastes,recycle organic matters,and improve soil structure and fertility.The principle,development situation,influencing factors,and control parameters of aerobic compost of organic solid wastes are introduced.The utilization of compost products is reviewed,the harmless evaluation indexes are summarized,the beneficial effects of compost application on soil and plants are analyzed,the potential problems of utilizing compost products are pointed out,and the development trend of aerobic compost of organic solid wastes is prospected.

Synthesis of γ-Aminobutyric Acid

γ-Aminobutyric acid was synthesised using 2-pyrrolidone as starting material under basic condition.Through derivatization of γ-aminobutyric acid with phenyl isothiolyanate,the purity of γ-aminobutyric acid determined by UV-HPLC was 99%,and its yield was 80%.

Determination of Ethylene Release Rate in Rape by Gas Chromatography

A gas chromatography(GC) was applied for the determination of ethylene in this article.Using capillary column and quantitative determination by peak high,result showed RSD was 1.10%,ethylene release rate in rape induced by 1.4% Huashaling WP1 was(1.47 μL·g-1·h-1),but in CK was(0.06 μL·g-1·h-1).The result obviously indicated the change of the ethylene release rate between the rape induced with Huashaling and the CK.The determination method was satisfactory with convenience,high speed and high sensitivity.

Study on Extraction Technique and Antibacterial Activity for Essential Oil from Platycladus Orientalis

The optimal extraction technique and antibacterial activity for the essential oil from Platycladus orientalis were investigated.The essential oil was extracted by the method of steam distillation and the essential oil yield was evaluated as main indicator.The essential oil was analyzed by TLC and GC.The antibacterial activity of essential oil was measured by the diameter of antibacterial circle.The optimal extraction process for essential oil from Platycladus orientalis was obtained through orthogonal experiment as follows:the powder of 20~30 eyelets was soaked for 12 h with 6 times water and then extracted for 5 h.The essential oil had obvious antibacterial activity on Micrococcus tetragenus,Staphycoccus aureus,Escherichia coli and Enterobacter aerogenus,but had no obvious antibacterial activity on Bacillus subtilis.

The New Development of Research on Copolymer Scale Inhibitor in China

Copolymer scale inhibitor is widely used in the treatment of circulating cooling water.In this paper,the new development of research on copolymer scale inhibitor and dispersant was introduced in details from several aspects,such as natural polymer scale inhibitors,carboxylic acid copolymer scale inhibitors,sulfonic acid copolymer scale inhibitors,phosphor-containing polymer scale inhibitors and new green copolymer scale inhibitors etc..Some advices on the development of research on copolymer scale inhibitor were put forward.

Scavenging Effects of Spirulina and Polysaccharides Spirulina Platensis on Active Oxygens and Its Antioxidation in vitro

Scavenging effects of Spirulina and polysaccharides Spirulina platensis on active oxygen species ·OH and ·O-2 generated by Fenton reaction and riboflavine photosensitization in vitro were investigated by the means of spectrophotometry.The inhibition effects of Spirulina and polysaccharides Spirulina platensis on the lipid peroxidation and damage of DNA chain induced by hydroxyl radical were observed by lipid peroxidation system mediated by FeSO4 and thiobarbituric acid spectrophotometry.The results showed that Spirulina and polysaccharides Spirulina platensis could scavenge ·OH、·O-2 efficiently.It could also significantly inhibit lipid peroxidation and damage of DNA by radical.

Decarboxylation is increasingly applied in the fields of chemical engineering,biological engineering,medicine and foodstuff,ect.More and more advanced methods of decarboxylation which include thermal-chemical decarboxylation found at the first,then electrochemical,photochemical,photo-electrochemical,and catalytic decarboxylation have been discovered by degrees.Some improve the velocity of decarboxylation,and others make the possibility of decarboxylation of some substance,which can reuse the castoff from the fields of industries and living,and be benefit to exploit the resource and protect the environment,promoting the improvement of society and development of economy.The research progress of pathways and mechanisms of decarboxylation are stated in this article.
