Research Progress on Preparation Methods and Applications of Activated Carbon
SUN Long-mei;ZHANG Li-ping;XUE Jian-hua;LI Bing-zheng;Activated carbon with large specific surface area,developed pore structure,high adsorption efficiency and good chemical stability has attracting extensive attentions.There are two main steps of preparing activated carbon:carbonization and activation,and activation includes three methods,i.e.,physical activation method,chemical activation method and physico-chemical activation method.In this paper,the performances of activated carbon prepared with different activators and different methods are compared,the advantages and disadvantages of the various activation methods are analyzed,and the future research directions of the preparation of activated carbon are predicted.
Development Trend and Countermeasures of Lithium Ion Battery Cathode Materials under Background of Carbon Neutralization
LI Yuting;In recent years, with the global climate change, the promotion of carbon neutralization has become a global consensus, and the development of new energy technology has become an important technological route and strategic choice for various industries.As the main research direction of new energy, lithium ion battery has an important impact on the use of new energy vehicles and the application of energy storage.In this paper, we systematically analyze the structure, performance, cost, and production process of lithium ion battery cathode materials, such as nickel-cobalt-manganese ternary material, lithium cobalate, lithium iron phosphate, and lithium manganate.Moreover, we point out the development trend and countermeasures of lithium ion battery cathode materials under the background of carbon neutralization.
Research Progress on Fermentation Production of Enzyme by Aspergillus Niger
ZHANG Xi;HAN Shuang-yan;Aspergillus niger is one of common fungus species.Some characters,such as vigorous growth,short fermentation cycle,no toxins produced during growth,make Aspergillus niger recognized as GRAS(Generally Recognized as Safe)by US Food and Drug Administration(FDA).Aspergillus niger tends to be an important industrial enzyme production strain.In this paper,production of cellulase,xylanase,protease,amylase,lipase by Aspergillus niger is reviewed,and their future prospects of applications are also presented.
Research Progress of Pathways and Mechanisms of Decarboxylation
GONG Yan,LIN Lu,SUN Yong,PANG Chun-sheng(State Key Lab of Pulp and Paper Engineering,Department of Resources Science and Engineering,South China University of Technology,Guangzhou 510640,China)Decarboxylation is increasingly applied in the fields of chemical engineering,biological engineering,medicine and foodstuff,ect.More and more advanced methods of decarboxylation which include thermal-chemical decarboxylation found at the first,then electrochemical,photochemical,photo-electrochemical,and catalytic decarboxylation have been discovered by degrees.Some improve the velocity of decarboxylation,and others make the possibility of decarboxylation of some substance,which can reuse the castoff from the fields of industries and living,and be benefit to exploit the resource and protect the environment,promoting the improvement of society and development of economy.The research progress of pathways and mechanisms of decarboxylation are stated in this article.
Progress of Preparation Method and Application of Graphene/Carbon Nanotube Composite

Research Progress in Activation Methods of Persulfate and Degradation Mechanism of Organic Pollutants by Persulfate Advanced Oxidation Process
LI Chunqin;ZOU Yachen;JIA Xiaoning;Due to possessing the advantages of short reaction time, high degradation efficiency, and wide application range, persulfate advanced oxidation process has attracted people′s attention in the field of degradation of organic pollutants.In this paper, we review the activation methods of persulfate, discuss the degradation mechanism of organic pollutants by the persulfate advanced oxidation process, analyze the existing problems, and put forward prospects in the future development direction.
Research Progress in Hydrogel Wound Dressings
XIAO Chenran;SHEN Zhi;KANG Shunji;SHEN Xizhou;College of Post and Telecommunication of Wuhan Institute of Technology;Skin is a very important organ that covers the surface of human body and directly contacts the external environment.The repair of skin wounds is a complex and orderly process.Seeking wound dressings that can promote wound repair and have excellent performance is a current research hotspot.Hydrogels have been extensively studied and applied in the field of wound dressings due to their high water content, good biocompatibility, absorption of exudates, ease of removal, and provision of a moist environment.In this paper, we introduce the preparation method of hydrogels, and summarize the research progress of functionalized hydrogel wound dressings, including antibacterial, hemostasis, anti-inflammatory, and tissue regeneration.Moreover, we put forward the prospects in the future development direction of hydrogel wound dressings.

Research Progress on Recycling of Organic Solid Wastes Based on Aerobic Compost
ZHOU Ji-hao;SHEN Xiao-dong;ZHANG Ping;SHI Jie;ZHAO Zhi-wei;ZHANG Shuai;MAI Zheng-jun;Rapid increase of population and urbanization make the generation of solid wastes increase around the world,and aerobic compost is an efficient way to dispose organic solid wastes,recycle organic matters,and improve soil structure and fertility.The principle,development situation,influencing factors,and control parameters of aerobic compost of organic solid wastes are introduced.The utilization of compost products is reviewed,the harmless evaluation indexes are summarized,the beneficial effects of compost application on soil and plants are analyzed,the potential problems of utilizing compost products are pointed out,and the development trend of aerobic compost of organic solid wastes is prospected.
