Secondary Metabolites from Co-Culture of Two Algicolous Trichoderma Strains

Abstract:

We co-cultured two algicolous Trichoderma strains(Trichoderma virens and Trichoderma longibrachiatum) isolated from Zhoushan Sea area, and obtained eight compounds through separation and purification of their crude fermentation extracts by using reverse-phase silica gel column chromatography, silica gel column chromatography, and gel column chromatography.Based on ~1HNMR,13CNMR analysis, and comparison with literature data, these compounds are identified as CAF-603(1),trichocarane A(2),trichocarotin H(3),trichocarotin N(4),7-β-hydroxy CAF-603(5),trichocarotin Ⅰ(6),(3R,5R)-3,5-dihydroxydecanoic acid(7),and 3,5-dihydroxydecanoic acid methyl ester(8).
